I am an associate attending medical physicist in the External Beam Treatment Planning section of the Department of Medical Physics. I work closely with the Department of Radiation Oncology to develop treatment planning procedures and to provide quality assurance for our patients.
As the leader of the cranial stereotactic radiosurgery treatment planning group, I use new technologies to improve planning techniques and treatment delivery for patients with brain metastasis. In addition, I train medical physicists, radiation oncology residents, and medical physics residents.
Doctors and faculty members often work with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology, and life sciences companies, and other organizations outside of MSK, to find safe and effective cancer treatments, to improve patient care, and to educate the health care community.
