I am an associate attending medical physicist and the Chief Physicist at MSK Commack. I lead a group of excellent physicists and planners working closely with radiation oncologists and therapists to provide the safest and most effective clinical care. Our services include treatment planning, physics quality assurance, plan check, physics consultation, and implementing new advanced treatment techniques.
My research interests are in deformable image registration, four-dimensional optimization in radiotherapy, and developing new advanced techniques in image-guided radiation therapy and adaptive radiotherapy.
I received my PhD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2003. I am a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, and the American Society for Radiation Oncology. I was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2008 with special expertise in therapeutic radiological physics and became a faculty member of MSK in 2016.
