Education

PhD, Tel Aviv University

Neta grew up in a small mountainous desert town in southern Israel with a breathtaking view of the dead sea and Mountains of Jordan. She received her PhD from Tel Aviv University where she studied pathogenesis of plant fungal pathogens. Although plants will always stay dear to her heart, Neta followed her passion and joined the Hohl lab for her postdoctoral training, where she now focuses on immune surveillance against human fungal pathogens. On top of her obsession with fungi, Neta is also a true cinephile and musicphile so in her spare time she likes playing the flute, drums and making documentaries on her feline overlords. Her secret guilty pleasure is watching horror B movies.
