Matthew Matasar: Each patient that we take care of, each day you have to go through again and again this complex calculus of trying to weigh risks and benefits with shifting sands of data and, and positivity rates and unclear risks of viral infection and who’s at risk, and what are those risks?

It was a set of clinical challenges that none of us have ever faced before.

It was exhilarating and terrifying and rewarding and challenging.

I’m tremendously proud of the work that we did at Memorial through those toughest times, to see our patients through one-by-one and to hold their hands through those terrifying days.
