The Experimental Therapeutics Symposium at Gerstner Sloan Kettering will take place September 30th-October 1st, bringing together PhD and MD-PhD students from former Howard Hughes Medical Institute Med into Grad grant recipient institutions. Conference attendees are participants in degree-granting or enrichment programs that try to bridge the gap between biomedical research and the clinic. Conference attendees will enjoy a poster session and student talks, as well as faculty talks given by physician-scientists David Solit and Charles Rudin of MSKCC, Gary Schwartz of Columbia University and pharmacologist Hazel Szeto, formerly of Weil Cornell Medical College. Attendees will also be able to participate in mock grand rounds led by Dr. Aimee Crago of MSKCC.
