This two-day program provides an advanced overview of common pediatric oncologic malignancies, supportive care considerations and therapeutic management of patients with pediatric cancers.
Objectives
- At the end of the program, course participants will be able to summarize an overview, treatments and management of pediatric malignancies including pediatric leukemias, lymphomas, sarcomas, brain tumors and neuroblastoma.
- At the end of the program, course participants will be able to describe indications, techniques, and complications of therapies including surgery.
- At the end of the program, course participants will be able to describe supportive care considerations such as fertility, integrative medicine, palliative care and long term follow up of patients with pediatric cancers.
