Dance to Destress (in person series)

Join an MSK dance/movement therapist for a gentle, therapeutic movement series designed to rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit. Move at your own pace through a blend of warm-ups, explorations of various dance styles, and free expression of movement. Each session offers a safe and compassionate space to stretch, strengthen, and release tension, helping to shift mood and decrease stress. No prior dance or movement experience is needed—just bring your willingness to connect and move. Sessions conclude with relaxation and breathing exercises to leave you feeling refreshed and grounded.  

This series is open to people who have been treated for cancer and their caregivers.

You Will Need: A small towel and water to stay hydrated

You Must Be Able To: Move from standing to sitting without assistance, stand securely on two feet and be able to weight shift easily.

What to Wear: Comfortable clothing so you can move easily
