Following a cancer diagnosis, during treatments, and in survivorship, you may feel a sense of loss and disembodiment. Music and dance can be vital for expressing these experiences as you reconnect with your inner strength and rebuild your individuality. In this lively workshop, co-led by an MSK dance/movement therapist and an MSK music therapist, we will engage in dance or movement, active listening, sing-along, and lyric discussion of songs with themes of empowerment and resilience.
Audience
This workshop is open to people of all levels of mobility and musical experience. You do not need to have dancing, singing, or music experience to enjoy or benefit from it.
