Mindful Menopausal Transition

Share

Description

This online workshop is designed for people preparing for or currently undergoing naturally occurring or treatment-related menopause. We will use evidence-based mind-body techniques to foster resilience and self-care for skillful coping with the physical and psychological effects of menopause.

Through reflective writing and group discussions, we will illuminate the areas of our lives that are touched by the menopausal transition. We will learn to relate to our experience with self-awareness and compassion, and apply mind-body techniques to support ourselves in challenging moments. An MSK integrative medicine doctor and an MSK mind-body instructor, who are both certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teachers, will lead this workshop.
