Patient Experience Week is a dedicated time to recognize the important role each of us has in creating experiences that center our patients and caregivers. This year, we celebrate and recognize how it takes MSK to deliver the very best patient experience. We invite staff, patients, families, and the community to join us in celebration of Patient Experience Week, with special events and ways to say thank you for their part in the patient experience. It Takes MSK for a Great Patient Experience
How does it take MSK to deliver a great patient experience? Please join us for a conversation with leaders and their teams including Patient Access Services, Environmental Services, Security, Ambulatory Care and MSK Volunteers. MSK’s President and CEO, Selwyn M. Vickers, MD, will kick off the session followed by short presentations from each team about how their work impacts patient experience at MSK. Presentations will be followed by a brief Q&A session.

Music at MSK Basking Ridge
Join us for music with Michelle DePasquale. Michelle is a pianist and has been a volunteer at MSK since April 2018. She is also a patient and has been cancer free since March 2016. Michelle decided to volunteer as a musician because it only seemed natural to her to do so. Being a music and piano teacher, she always tells her students that their music is a gift that needs to be given back to the community. She enjoys playing for the patients and their families, hoping the music helps them to relax and for a brief moment and forget their troubles.

Caring Canines
Take a “paws” and hang out with Caring Canines! Our friendly Caring Canines will be making visits at locations across MSK sites throughout the week.
