In Yoga for Core Strength, you will learn breath awareness meditations with a variety of floor, seated, and standing yoga poses. This purposeful mix of movements will safely build abdominal muscles while protecting joints and the lower back.
Our goal with this class is to empower you to feel a deep connection to your body and emotions.
Yoga classes at MSK are taught by certified instructors. They have special experience and training to teach yoga to people with cancer. Yoga for Core Strength is a safe class for people experiencing post-treatment side-effects, including neuropathy and joint pain.
