The May 20 installment of “MSK Science Spotlight” will feature guest speaker, Katherine High, MD, Professor Emerita, Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania; Co-founder and former President and Head of R&D, Spark Therapeutics. Hosted by MSK Physician in Chief, Lisa DeAngelis, MD, this session will focus on “Turning Genes into Medicines: What Can We Learn from the Development of Gene Therapy for Genetic Disease. Dr. DeAngelis joins prestigious colleagues who have hosted past sessions of “MSK Science Spotlight,” most recently including, Andrea Schietinger, PhD, Andrew Kung, MD, PhD, and Danwei Huangfu, PhD.
