
Samuel Singer
Samuel Singer has been appointed Chief of the Gastric and Mixed Tumor Service in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Singer is a surgical oncologist and leader of Memorial Sloan Kettering’s multidisciplinary soft tissue sarcoma team. He is also the principal investigator for the Soft Tissue Sarcoma Program Project. He is an expert in the use of combined therapies, such as limb-sparing surgery plus radiation or chemotherapy, for soft tissue sarcoma. His research efforts focus on a comprehensive integrated molecular, genetic, and biochemical analysis of soft tissue sarcoma in order to predict outcomes more accurately, identify new therapeutic targets, and develop novel therapies for patients with sarcoma. Dr. Singer received his MD degree in 1982 from Harvard Medical School and completed residencies at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Prior to joining Memorial Sloan Kettering in 2002, he was on the faculty at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where he was co-director of the Center for Sarcoma and Bone Oncology and Chair of the Sarcoma Program at Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center. He is board certified in surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

I would like to receive information regarding treatment for my stage iv extraskeletal osteosarcoma disease which has metastasized to both my lungs on two occassions.
