Amplio is an information technology system that provides clinicians with feedback on their outcomes that is risk-adjusted and anonymously compared with their peers. The system was originally developed for radical prostatectomy outcomes but has expanded to include multiple other procedures, including nephrectomy, cystectomy, gastrectomy, ovarian debulking, pancreaticoduodenectomy, liver resection, colon resection, and esophagectomy. Additionally, Amplio has expanded beyond surgical interventions, reporting outcomes for prostate radiology and for hospitalists. Currently the Amplio team is working to incorporate additional procedures covering melanoma, orthopedics, breast reconstruction, and interventional radiology, as well as a multi-institution initiative with the radical prostatectomy and cystectomy sites.
