Lisa Kennedy is Associate Director, Business Development and Licensing in MSK’s Office of Technology Development, which she joined in 2018. Previously, she worked as a Senior Principal for inThought Research, a healthcare consultancy firm, where she managed hematology-oncology, neurology, and respiratory accounts from 2014-2018.
Lisa received her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Genetics and Development from Columbia University in 2013. As a graduate student and Postdoctoral Research Scientist there, she worked in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics on the discovery of novel mechanisms that regulate the movement of neurons.
Lisa’s experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Pediatrics Department. She also was a Fellow in the Columbia University Technology Ventures Program. Lisa received her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Cornell University.
