As the Senior Vice President of Research and Project Administration, Annmarie Pacchia provides strategic leadership and direction for research business operations at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She oversees several research management functions including Grants and Contracts, Research Financial Management, Research Financial Planning, and Clinical Research Finance.
Prior to joining MSK in 2010, Annmarie was a research administrator in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and a research laboratory manager and staff scientist at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology.
Annmarie received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Drew University and earned a PhD in molecular biology from Rutgers University. She completed postdoctoral research at Rutgers University, where her areas of focus included the life cycle of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus, lentiviral gene transfer, and antiviral drug discovery.
