Ashish Dhir is a Lead Product Development Manager in the Office of Entrepreneurship and Commercialization (OEC) at MSK. He joined MSK in January 2023.
Ashish has extensive expertise in nonclinical drug discovery & development, including the pharmacological and toxicological evaluation of novel therapeutic compounds. He has experience working in both academia and industry, managing projects from early discovery to pre-development to full development. Before joining MSK, he served as Associate Principal Scientist/Associate Director in the Drug Discovery Division at Merck, New Jersey. Prior to Merck, he worked as a senior scientist at the NIH-sponsored CounterACT Center of Excellence awarded to University of California at Davis (UC Davis).
Ashish is a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) and a Fellow of the American Epilepsy Society (FAES). He additionally received his Regulatory Affairs Certification in Drugs (RAC-Drugs) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS), demonstrating recognized professional competency in regulatory science and drug development. He is also certified as a pharmacometrician and PK/PD modeler.
Ashish received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Pharmacology from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He completed his postdoctoral training in the Department of Neurology, SOM, at UC Davis.
