Ashish Dhir is a Senior Pharmacology & Toxicology Manager in the Product Development team of OTD. He joined MSK in January 2023.

Ashish has expertise in preclinical drug discovery & development, including pharmacological and toxicological evaluation of novel compounds. He has experience working in both academia and industry, managing projects from early discovery to pre-development to full development. He was most recently an Associate Principal Scientist/Associate Director in the Drug Discovery Division of Merck Animal Health, New Jersey. Prior to Merck, he worked as a senior scientist at the NIH-sponsored CounterACT Center of Excellence awarded to University of California at Davis (UC Davis).

Ashish received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Pharmacology from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He completed his postdoctoral training in the Department of Neurology, SOM, at UC Davis.
