Emily Chumas is an Assistant General Counsel in the Office of Technology Development. She joined Memorial Sloan Kettering in 2021 and serves on the contracts unit handling pre-clinical research.
Previously, Emily worked as an Associate Attorney with a law firm in Connecticut. Her earlier experience includes serving as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Legal Research Office of the Connecticut Judicial Branch, and as the Institutional Review Board (IRB) Coordinator in Northwell Health’s Human Research Protection Program.
Emily received her JD degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law and her BA in Psychology from New York University. She is admitted to the Connecticut State Bar and the US Court of Federal Claims.
