Emma Shah is an Assistant General Counsel on the Office of Technology Development’s Legal team. She joined Memorial Sloan Kettering as a Staff Attorney in 2017.

Emma’s experience includes serving as a legal intern at Fordham Law School’s Samuelson-Glushko Intellectual Property & Information Law Clinic, as a legal extern in the National Health Law Program in Los Angeles, as a law clerk in the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, and as a legal extern in the US Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Medicare Hearings & Appeals in Irvine, California.

Emma is admitted to the California State Bar. She received her L.L.M. degree from Fordham University School of Law in 2017 and her J.D. from Chapman University Fowler School of Law in 2016. Emma received her bachelor’s degree both in Public Health Policy and International Studies from the University of California, Irvine.
