John Lasky joined Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as the Chief People Officer in September 2024.

John is a seasoned HR leader with a strategic approach to community building through people development. Before joining MSK, John served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Temple University Health System in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a position he held since 2013. During his time at Temple, John oversaw a diverse workforce of over 12,000 employees across six hospitals, implementing strategies that significantly improved employee engagement, diversity, equity, inclusion, recruitment, and retention.

Prior to joining Temple, John held leadership roles at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and West Penn Allegheny Health System, where he led successful initiatives in employee engagement, recruitment, labor relations, benefits administration, and system integration. He also practiced law at Reed Smith, a top 50 global law firm.

John holds a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Arts from Duquesne University, and a Certificate in Leadership from The Wharton School.
