Niranjan Ghimire is a Senior CMC Manager in MSK’s Office of Entrepreneurship and Commercialization (OEC), a position he has held since June 2024. In this role, he leads strategic initiatives focused on manufacturing processes and product development across various therapeutic modalities, with an emphasis on Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) in support of regulatory submissions.
Prior to joining MSK, Niranjan held a range of scientific and leadership roles in the biotechnology field, specializing in Cell Therapy and Tissue Engineering. Most recently, he served as a Principal Scientist in Product Development at Catalent Pharma Solutions. Before that, he was a Principal Scientist in the Process and CMC Development group at Celularity Inc. He has also contributed to Process Development teams at WuXi Advanced Therapies and Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine.
Niranjan earned his MBA from Fitchburg State University in 2025. He received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering, with a focus on Biomaterials, from the University of South Dakota in 2016, and holds a BE in Biomedical Engineering from Purbanchal University, Nepal (2009).
