Poonam Chitale, PhD, is a Business Analyst II in the Entrepreneurship Initiative (EI) at MSK. She supports the development of new ventures by conducting market research, financial analysis, and strategic assessments to help inform early-stage startup decisions.
Prior to joining MSK in 2025, Poonam worked as an Investment Analyst at SymBiosis Capital Management, a therapeutics-focused biotech venture capital fund.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from The College of New Jersey in 2013, a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from New York University in 2018, and a PhD in Infectious Diseases from Rutgers University School of Biomedical Sciences in 2023.
