Shengquan Duan, PhD, is a Director, Product Development in MSK’s Office of Technology Development (OTD). His role involves leading the Product Development team to devise development strategies, support manufacturing processes, and oversee regulatory submissions for MSK’s product pipeline. He assumed this role in February 2024.

Prior to joining MSK, Shengquan worked in the pharmaceutical industry at different roles for more than 20 years. Most recently, he served as a Director of Global Regulatory Affairs, focusing on CMC regulatory strategy. Additionally, he held positions as a Pharmaceutical Sciences Team Leader in Pfizer’s Small Molecule Portfolio group and as an API team lead in their Chemical Research and Development department.

Shengquan received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemistry from Tsinghua University. He then pursued a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis, which he completed in 2003. Additionally, he holds a Master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance from Temple University.
