Clairiola Etienne has joined Memorial Sloan Kettering as a Research Project Associate. She is a recent graduate of the Grove School of Engineering of City College of New York with a Master in Science degree in Translational Medicine. Additionally, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and French literature from Vassar College in 2018. Since moving to the United States in 2010 from Haiti, Clairiola has committed her work to improving health care disparities and providing equity within minority communities, especially amongst immigrant populations. When she’s not at work, she volunteers at her alma mater, Vassar College, through a nonprofit organization, The Vassar Haiti Project that focuses on promoting Haitian art and fostering sustainable development in Haiti. In her free time, Clairiola likes reading, discovering new musical artists, hiking, cooking, and helping her siblings with their art and photography careers.
