Recibí mi título en escritura creativa del Massachusetts Institute of Technology y mi título médico del Weill Cornell Medical College. Completé la residencia en medicina interna en New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill-Cornell Campus y otra en enfermedades infecciosas en Memorial Sloan Kettering. Soy parte del cuerpo docente de MSK desde 2011.
