Dr. Audree Tadros treats all types of breast cancer at MSK, with expertise in inflammatory breast cancer, breast-conserving surgery, and patient-centered care.
As a surgeon, it is my privilege to care for patients through what may be the most challenging time of their life, and to give them hope.
Hi, I’m Dr. Audree Tadros, and I’m a breast surgeon at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In addition to the surgical treatment of all forms of breast cancer, I lead a specialized clinic dedicated to advancing care for patients with inflammatory breast cancer.
My surgical philosophy centers on the goal of achieving the most effective outcome with a cosmetic result that prioritizes your long-term confidence and well-being. I plan every procedure thoughtfully, to balance the need to treat the cancer with your desire to feel good when it’s done.
While I’m dedicated to excellent surgical care, I’m also deeply invested in researching what patients say about how they were treated. Having studied abroad, and realizing there are disparities in healthcare, I wanted to make a difference in the lives of patients by studying how to bridge the gaps and provide equal access to patients here and around the world. By examining quality of life, recovery patterns, and mental well-being, we can better understand what patients truly experience during and after treatment. This work helps us to develop more effective predictive tools and personalized counseling strategies to support your journey, both during and following treatment.
The most meaningful part of my work includes the moments when patients share their recovery milestones, renewed hope, and regained strength. These moments remind me why I've dedicated my career to delivering comprehensive care that supports your complete healing journey – today, and for a lifetime.
