Dr. Jonathan Coleman treats kidney, prostate, adrenal, and upper tract cancers at MSK, combining minimally invasive, organ-sparing surgery with access to clinical trials.

Hi, I’m Dr. Jonathan Coleman, a urologic surgeon at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I take care of people with kidney cancers, prostate cancer, adrenal cancer, and a rare cancer called upper tract urothelial carcinoma.

My team uses robotic-assisted surgical procedures with high-definition cameras and small instruments that enable us to perform complex operations with great precision through millimeter-sized incisions.

And for people with upper tract cancer, here at MSK we have pioneered new organ-sparing approaches to increase the chances that patients can keep their kidney.

MSK has one of the largest clinical trial programs in the country, so we’re able to provide access to cutting-edge therapies, taking what we learn in the lab and offering it to our patients enrolled in clinical trials.

Here, cancer is our primary focus, so you can be assured that you’ll be treated by a team with tremendous expertise in your specific cancer type.

When you come to see me and my team, we’ll explain your diagnosis and your treatment plan in clear terms because we want you to be comfortable every step of the way and we’ll work together to ensure that you are.
