Dr. Mark Robson is Chief of Breast Medicine at MSK, a leader in hereditary cancers who uses genetic testing and research to guide prevention and personalized care.
Hi, I’m Dr. Mark Robson, a breast medical oncologist and clinical geneticist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, which has been my professional home since 1996. My wife works here too. She's a nurse practitioner and quality expert in radiology, so MSK is a big part of our family’s life.
I’ve spent my career turning the science of breast cancer into day-to-day decisions I make with my patients. I’ve studied the genes that can cause it in families, and spent decades putting that study into practice by treating breast cancer and trying to prevent it.
Caring for patients is a privilege that is never lost on me. I will be a powerful advocate for you during one of the most difficult times of your life. When you come to see me, we’ll take our time. I’ll listen carefully, then lay out clear honest explanations, and give you my best recommendations.
Your family, work, and routines matter. They should be your focus while I help you manage a treatment plan that you are comfortable with and understand. Throughout the journey, we’ll be a team.
