Dr. Pedram Razavi personalizes breast cancer care at MSK, using genomics, liquid biopsy, and team-based expertise to match each patient with the right treatment.

From early in my training, I knew I wanted to become an oncologist. I was drawn to the science of cancer – its complexity, constant evolution, and the challenge of overcoming it. What motivated me most was sitting with people and helping them as they faced some of the hardest moments in their lives.

Hello, I’m Dr. Pedram Razavi, a breast medical oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

I approach every case as a puzzle, bringing together all the tools available – from cancer genomics and liquid biopsy to emerging technologies – to create a truly personalized treatment plan, always keeping each patient’s goals and priorities at the center of the care.

I also lead the Breast Molecular Tumor Board. It's a group made up of experts from many different areas across the institution who all come together to address some of the most complex cases we see at MSK.

I’m also deeply involved in designing innovative clinical trials for bringing discoveries from the lab to our patients.

The conversations and experiences we share will guide your care and inspire my work in the lab, driving me to keep searching for better, more durable treatments for our patients.
