Special Surveillance Breast Program
Also housed at the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center is the Special Surveillance Breast Program for women with a family history of breast cancer or those who have had a precancerous lesion removed by biopsy. Participants visit the clinic as often as every three months so they can be carefully monitored for signs of cancer.
An occupational therapist is available to educate and treat patients with lymphedema or limited mobility after surgery, and to discuss a safe return to daily activities.
Women commonly experience sexual health changes during and after cancer treatment. Sexual health experts at the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center are dedicated to helping women adjust to and manage these physical and emotional side effects. We provide education, strategies, and treatment that can help you to improve your sexual health.
Our professionally certified fitters will assist you — both before and after surgery — in selecting from the extensive choices of prostheses, surgical bras, camisoles, swim wear, day wear, and other necessities.
The Boutique offers the largest selection of head wear and head coverings, scarves, and hats. No appointment is necessary. We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For more information, call 646-888-5330.
