Stressful global events can leave us all feeling worried and afraid. Mindfulness meditation involves staying in the present moment without dwelling in the past or future and learning to accept our feelings and emotions without judgment. This is in contrast to getting caught up in worries and regain a feeling of control over our running thoughts about what may or may not happen during the current pandemic. In this four-week series for those with prior meditation experience, you will practice meditation and mindfulness techniques to help manage worry, recurring thoughts, and restlessness.
