Fight Fatigue with Food and Yoga

Share

Description

Fatigue is a common and frustrating side effect of cancer treatment. People with fatigue may find it more difficult to stay awake during the day. They may also find it difficult to do activities they used to love because they do not have as much energy. Many people feel fatigued during their treatment, but for some, this feeling lasts well after they have completed treatment. In this workshop, an MSK yoga instructor and an MSK physician assistant and nutrition expert will help you tackle fatigue in two ways. They will share yoga postures that create and restore energy, promote rest, and improve sleep. They will also discuss how to optimize diet and nutrition to ensure your body is using the foods you are eating to give you energy.
