This six-week guided workshop offers a supportive community where people can connect about a shared experience and continue growing their meditation practice
Together as a class, you will continue to strengthen your mind-body connection to reduce stress, strengthen concentration, build resilience, bounce back from change, and improve every day well-being.
In Meditation: Deepening the Practice, the teacher will discuss these topics:
- deepening concentration
- awareness of breath and body sensations
- directing thoughts that arise during meditation
- showing yourself self-compassion and self-control
- maintaining attention throughout the day

This class is open to all people who have been diagnosed with cancer, including their caregivers and anyone who has completed treatment. We recommend this class for those who have taken our Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation workshops, or who have participated in a meditation class before.
