With over 80 full time clinical and research fellowship programs, MSK is dedicated to training the next generation of specialized cancer experts. Our fellowships primarily consist of physician training programs, with dental, medical physics, clinical PhD programs as well as department-specific learning opportunities. As a comprehensive cancer institute, trainees contribute to interdisciplinary disease management teams providing expert patient care and contribute to innovative research. Surgery Research Fellowship

Thoracic Anesthesia Fellow/Instructor Attending Physician
This is an exciting one-year fellowship in thoracic anesthesia for trainees to gain expertise in the diagnosis and management of patients undergoing complex thoracic surgery (2500 total cases, 1500 major). The fellow may administer anesthesia under direct supervision of an attending physician or in a supervisory role of CA-3 house staff with an overseeing attending.
Thoracic Pathology Fellowship
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) offers a one-year Thoracic Pathology Fellowship Training Program. The year of training is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
Thoracic Surgical Oncology Fellowship
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center offers a non-accredited advanced training opportunity in complex thoracic surgery for individuals who have completed a cardiothoracic training program, are board certified or board-eligible (or their equivalent), and are interested in an additional intensive experience in advanced thoracic surgical oncology.
Urologic Oncology Fellowship
The fellowship is structured to provide a two year experience in research and clinical training. The fellowship is the largest and oldest of its kind in the world.
Uterine Cancer Clinical Research Fellowship
The Uterine Cancer Clinical Research fellowship is a two-year position that exposes research fellows to a robust and active clinical research program in all aspects of uterine as well as cervical and vulvovaginal cancer research.
