I am the Chief Physicist at Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Nassau County regional site. I supervise the day-to-day radiation physics operations, including treatment planning and plan quality checks; equipment quality assurance and radiation calibration; the development of new treatment protocols and workflows; implementation of advanced technologies; and clinical physics consultations.
My current research interests focus on stereotactic body radiation therapy, motion management, surface-guided radiation therapy, and clinical workflow improvement.
I received my PhD in biomedical engineering with a concentration in radiological physics from Stony Brook University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship and residency training in therapeutic medical physics at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I became certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2012. I have been a faculty member at MSK since 2020.
Doctors and faculty members often work with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology, and life sciences companies, and other organizations outside of MSK, to find safe and effective cancer treatments, to improve patient care, and to educate the health care community.
