I am an associate attending and lead physicist in Memorial Sloan Kettering’s central New Jersey region, overseeing the medical physics operations at the Basking Ridge and Monmouth outpatient facilities. I lead a group of excellent medical physicists and medical dosimetrists to provide technical services in radiation therapy. Our day-to-day duties include radiation-therapy treatment planning; quality assurance and quality checks of equipment and patients’ treatment plans; special physics consultation; and continuously implementing and improving radiological technologies. My research interests include proton therapy, MRI-guided radiation therapy, healthcare informatics, and evidence-based healthcare management.
I received my PhD in medical physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. I then worked as a faculty physicist at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics for eight years. I have been a faculty member at MSK since September 2019.
