Hello, I’m Dr. Damon Reed, a pediatric oncologist at MSK Kids at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In addition to caring for children and adolescents, I treat young adults with bone and muscle tumors called sarcomas.

MSK is known around the world for our expertise in treating sarcomas, and our entire team of specialists will apply all we know from decades of experience to focus on what’s best for you and your family.

A lot of my work involves bringing new therapies from the lab into clinical trials, so my patients can have access to the newest and best treatment options available.

I’m proud of the fact that many people with cancer come to me to get a second, third, or even fifth opinion. I want to be your partner in considering next steps and exploring new treatment ideas.

When you come to see me, you may be feeling a lot of uncertainty. The most stressful time after a cancer diagnosis can be wondering what’s next, but you won't be facing that alone. My job is to carefully weigh the options and explain them clearly to you and your family. I’m here to relieve your fears and give you confidence in the path forward.
