Hello, I’m Dr. Neil Segal, a gastrointestinal medical oncologist and the Research Director for GI Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I specialize in caring for patients with colorectal cancer, as well as cancers of the small intestine, appendix, and the anal canal.
My first priority is to make sure that when you leave my clinic, you feel a sense of support and trust, with a solid plan in place tailored to your needs.
At MSK, building that plan is a collaborative effort, and I work closely with an exceptional team to provide the highest standard of care available today, while also designing the breakthrough treatments of tomorrow.
The focus of my research is developing novel immunotherapy. I lead innovative clinical studies designed to help the immune system recognize and fight cancer more effectively.
Depending on your situation, I hope to offer treatment options that may include standard therapies such as chemotherapy, as well as access to new approaches through clinical trials.
It is a privilege to care for my patients, and I am committed to bringing the latest advances in cancer research and treatment to every person I see with expertise, compassion, and hope.
