Dr. Rona Yaeger cares for people with colorectal, anal, and gastrointestinal (GI) cancers at MSK, while also leading clinical trials to give patients the newest therapies.
Hi, I’m Dr. Rona Yaeger, a gastrointestinal medical oncologist and early drug development specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I specialize in treating colorectal cancer, from early-stage diagnoses to more advanced cases that require long-term care.
At MSK, I also lead clinical trials that test promising new treatments. We’re constantly looking for ways to stop cancer in its tracks. If there's a targeted therapy that’s right for you, I’ll help you access it.
What makes this work so meaningful to me is the connection I build with my patients over time. My job is to help you understand your options, manage symptoms, and guide you toward choices that align with your goals and lifestyle.
What I want every patient to know is you’re not doing this alone. You’ll have a dedicated team behind you – doctors, nurses, researchers– all of us will be focused on you, your care, and your life beyond cancer.
