Dr. Sean McBride delivers precise radiation to people with prostate, bladder, kidney, head and neck cancers at MSK, while leading clinical trials to limit side effects.
Hi, I’m Dr. Sean McBride, a radiation oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where I treat patients with cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney, mouth and throat.
Radiation is often needed after surgery to lower the chance of the cancer coming back. In some cases, radiation can replace surgery altogether.
I also conduct clinical trials to study innovative ways to combine radiation with newer medications, so we can treat your cancer with more precision and fewer side effects.
Our team also tests targeted therapies that block cancer’s growth, and immunotherapies that help your own immune system fight cancer.
At MSK, you’ll be cared for with compassion and respect. When you come to see me, we’ll have an open, honest conversation about your diagnosis and what it means in clear, simple terms you and your loved ones can understand.
I know you may be anxious to get started. We’ll move as quickly as possible to determine the right plan for you, backed by the latest research.
I want to help give you peace of mind and the confidence to know you’re with the right team and at the very best place you can be.
