Eye melanoma is also called uveal melanoma or ocular melanoma. It is a type of eye cancer. It’s the most common eye cancer in adults.

Signs and Symptoms of Eye Melanoma

Signs of eye melanoma include:

  • blurred or changed vision
  • a dark spot on your eyelid or iris
  • a change in the shape of one of your pupils

If you notice these symptoms, it is important to contact your doctor right away. The sooner your condition is treated, the better your chances for a cure.
