About Our Pathology Services
Many of the nearly 110 faculty members in Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Department of Pathology perform diagnostic subspecialty work. In surgical pathology alone, we have ten subspecialty teams, each with up to 12 pathologists. We also have experts in cytopathology, informatics, and immunohistochemistry.
We communicate extensively across subspecialties –– from brain cancer to colorectal cancer and lymphomas. The whole department meets every day to discuss challenging cases, and our individual subspecialty teams meet frequently as well.
