Thoracic surgeon Daniela Molena leads clinical trials to improve outcomes for people with esophageal cancers.
At any time Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is conducting hundreds of clinical trials to improve care for many types of cancer. Use the tool below to browse our clinical trials that are currently enrolling new patients. Each listing explains the purpose of the trial, the trial’s eligibility criteria, and how to get more information.
The list below includes clinical trials for adult cancers. Please visit our pediatric cancer care section to find a pediatric clinical trial.
Researchers in this study are comparing two different treatments for hairy cell leukemia. The people in this study have hairy cell leukemia that has not yet been treated. In addition, their leukemia has a genetic mutation (change) called BRAF V600E.
The purpose of this study is to find the highest dose of the investigational drug BCA101 that can be given safely alone and in combination with the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab in patients with advanced lung cancer that cannot be cured with standard treatments. BCA101 is an antibody that targets two proteins involved in cancer growth called EGFR and TGF-beta. By blocking these proteins, BCA101 may interfere with the signals that spur cancer growth.
Researchers are studying how casdatifan, alone or with zimberelimab, works in people with kidney cancer. The people in this study have clear cell renal cell carcinoma. Their cancers have metastasized (spread) or are inoperable (cannot be taken out with surgery).
Researchers are comparing treatment with doxorubicin chemotherapy and pembrolizumab immunotherapy to doxorubicin alone for advanced sarcoma. The people in this study have undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (UPS) or a related poorly differentiated sarcoma. Their cancers have metastasized (spread) or are inoperable (cannot be taken out with surgery).
Researchers want to find the highest dose of ECI830 that can be given safely in people with advanced cancer. The people in this study have breast cancer or other solid tumors that have spread beyond their original location.
Researchers want to find the best dose of ELA026 to use in people with secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (sHLH). When you have sHLH, certain white blood cells become overactive and attack other healthy blood cells. The white blood cells damage your own healthy tissues and organs. sHLH is usually triggered by another disease, such as cancer, infection, or autoimmune disease.
Liver stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (L-SABR) is a standard treatment that uses radiation therapy to target tumors that have spread to the liver while limiting the radiation dose to surrounding organs. L-SABR may also boost the immune response.
Researchers want to see how well tebentafusp works in people with clear cell sarcoma that has spread. This cancer grows deeply into soft tissues of the arms and legs. The people in this study have clear cell sarcoma that is inoperable (cannot be surgically removed) or has spread.
Researchers want to find the best dose of a new CAR T cell therapy for esophagogastric cancer. Esophagogastric cancer is cancer of the esophagus or stomach. The people in this study have esophagogastric cancer that has metastasized (spread), including to the peritoneum (lining of the belly). In addition, their cancer makes a protein called mesothelin and keeps growing after initial treatment.
Researchers want to find the best dose of ZL-1310 to use in people with advanced digestive tumors. The people in this study have gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine carcinoma (GEP NEC) that spread and keeps growing after treatment. These tumors include NEC of the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, gallbladder, or colon/rectum.
