I am a radiologist who is board-certified in both the United States (by the American Board of Radiology) and Canada (by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada). I also have fellowship training in molecular imaging and in breast and body oncologic imaging. After completing my fellowships, I joined the faculty of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
I work primarily within the Department of Radiology’s Breast Imaging Service, where I interpret mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and breast MRI as well as perform all interventional breast procedures. My clinical focus is breast MRI with a particular interest in the potential use of multi-parametric imaging for high-risk screening and breast cancer diagnosis.
The focus of my research is the radiogenomics of breast cancer. Radiogenomics involves correlating radiologic imaging with genetic information. This research involves colleagues in multiple departments in the Breast Disease Management Team, which exemplifies our multidisciplinary approach towards optimizing patient care and the development of personalized medicine.
I was fortunate to have wonderful teachers during my training, and I am committed to giving the same to the Weill Cornell Radiology Residency program, the Memorial Sloan Kettering Breast Imaging Fellowship, and Memorial Sloan Kettering colleagues in Radiology and other departments.
In the future, I hope to continue to extend my role beyond the hospital into the realm of public health, specifically with respect to the healthcare of women in the global community where resources are limited and there is a need for radiologic skills and the implementation of appropriate imaging modalities.

Research is integral to our mission at Memorial Sloan Kettering, and clinical trials help us discover better forms of patient care and treatment. For you, this could mean access to a new therapy or therapy combination. Click to see a list of the trials I’m currently leading.
