I am a medical oncologist who specializes in caring for people with breast cancer. I provide high-quality care through both standard and emerging treatments based on each patient’s unique needs. I see patients at MSK Commack, on Long Island, and also help patients enroll in clinical trials at both MSK Commack and MSK’s Manhattan locations.

Since I joined the Breast Medicine Service at MSK Commack in 2016, I have acquired a deep understanding of the pivotal role that this site plays in bringing Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) care to the central and eastern Long Island community. As MSK Commack’s medical site director, my goal is to uphold the highest standard of patient care while fostering innovation at this regional care site. To that end, I have focused on providing innovative, evidence-based care while making efforts to bring clinical trials closer to patients’ homes.

In addition to clinical care, I have served as a co-principal investigator (co-PI) on multiple clinical trials opened by MSK’s Breast Medicine, Radiation Oncology, and Integrative Medicine Services. I have a special interest in the study of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) and was recently awarded a major research grant from Gateway for Cancer Research to support a phase 2B trial evaluating acupuncture’s ability to stop CIPN progression during curative-intent chemotherapy in patients with breast cancer. I am the PI of this study, which is now open.

I am most motivated and excited when I am being challenged, and knowledge, creativity, collaboration, precision, and persistence are among my key values.
