Get to Know Me

I am a pediatric hematologic oncologist on the MSK Kids team who specializes in the care of cancerous and non-cancerous disorders of the blood and immune systems in children and young adults. In particular, I have treated patients with liver tumors (hepatoblastoma, hepatocellular, and hepatoblastoma mixed liver tumors), acute leukemias, germ cell tumors, Wilms tumor (a type of kidney cancer), sarcomas of the bones and soft tissues, neuroblastoma, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas, aplastic anemia, sickle cell disease, thalassemias, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD), hemophilia, and chronic neutropenia.

I chose this field because I enjoy working with young patients and getting to know their families. Having the chance to be a part of someone’s life during a time when they and their family members are in a vulnerable state is the most gratifying part of my job. I treat each patient and family member with respect and compassion to make their experience with us as gentle as it can be.

What I Do at MSK

I'm a pediatric hematologist-oncologist, which is a doctor who treats cancers and blood diseases in children, adolescents, and young adults.

I'm a bone marrow transplant specialist, which is a doctor with special training in bone marrow transplants.

MSK requires doctors and faculty members to report (“disclose”) the relationships and financial interests they have with external entities. As a commitment to transparency with our community, we make that information available to the public.
