After completing oncology and hematology training at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell Medical Center, I joined the team at MSK Rockville Centre in 2005. I transitioned to MSK Nassau in 2019, when it opened. My colleagues and I offer a multidisciplinary approach utilizing the most recent advanced treatments in medical oncology and state-of-the-art radiation oncology. We also offer novel chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and monoclonal antibody therapies as well as genetic testing — which can help individualize treatment — closer to home.

As part of our research efforts, we are actively enrolling patients in a growing number of clinical trials at MSK Nassau, allowing patients to receive the most advanced care closer to home on Long Island. We offer a warm, intimate environment, where doctors, nurses, and support staff collaborate with local physicians and facilities to take care of the medical, social, nutritional, and psychological needs of our patients.

What I Do at MSK

I'm a gastrointestinal (GAS-troh-in-TES-tih-nul) medical oncologist, which is a cancer doctor who specializes in gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. This includes anal, colorectal, esophageal, gastric (stomach), liver, and pancreatic cancers. We also treat GI stromal tumors and neuroendocrine tumors.
