We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow with a Ph.D. or MD/PhD within last three years having a strong background in immunology with an emphasis on the cancer immunology. Candidates with an established expertise in computational biology, though not a requirement, would be preferred. The laboratory at MSKCC, co-directed by Charles Rudin MD PhD and Triparna Sen PhD, is broadly interested in the development and testing of novel therapeutic approaches to lung cancer in preclinical models including patient-derived xenografts.
Successful candidate will pursue an ongoing project to understand the molecular resistance pathways in tumors that fail to respond to current immunotherapy approaches. The major goal of this project will be to understand resistance as a dynamic interconnected system and to identify the optimal nodes for therapeutic intervention. The project is focused on dissecting the molecular mechanisms used for tumor immune evasion based on the cutting-edge technical platforms including multicolor flow cytometry, Multiplex imaging and Single-cell Seq, etc.
The successful applicants should have a proven academic publication track record, including first-authored publications at high profile journals, as well as excellent scientific, organizational, record-keeping, problem-solving skills.
