Winners of the Tri-Institutional Breakout Prize for Junior Investigators

Join us from to ET for the June 11 session of “MSK Science Spotlight” recognizing this year’s winners of the Tri-Institutional Breakout Prize for Junior Investigators – Manu Setty, PhD of the Dana Pe’er Lab at the Sloan Kettering Institute; Alexander J. Meeske, PhD of the Luciano Marraffini Lab at The Rockefeller University and Ana Patricia Gomes, PhD of the John Blenis Lab at Weill Cornell Medicine.

Each recipient will share remarks on this accomplishment and contributions to the research community. Established in 2015, the annual award recognizes outstanding work by postdoctoral researchers from the Tri-Institutional community with a prize of $25,000 for each winner. This honor was created by three winners of the 2013 Breakthrough Prize in Life Science, including Dr. Charles Sawyers, seeking to “pay it forward” and help promising scientists receive the support and funding needed to conduct basic and translational research.
