Lung cancer screening at MSK is actually pretty unique in that we've been able to streamline the process for patients.
So if you call and make an appointment, you can have an appointment in person in Manhattan, at any of our regional sites, or on a telehealth visit. You talk to somebody for a few minutes just to make sure that lung screening is something that is relevant for you. And if it is right for you, then we set up a CAT scan for you, and you can have that done wherever it's most convenient for you. Once the scan happens, somebody will follow up with you, usually within about 24 hours, to let you know what the results are and what the plan is for any additional testing.
